All weather and fire files have been updated. Two new features are coming. The fire files will be posted in a comma delimited (.csv format) and GIS formats.
FireFamily Plus 4 is officially released . For more information visit by firemodels.org.
FPL files will no longer be avilable for DOI agencies. Please call the Fire Applications Helpdesk for assistance (1-800-253-5559) should a special need arise.

The intent of this site is to provide US Federal wildland fire managers with
ready access to historical data which will allow them to concentrate on the execution of their jobs and not on how to obtain
the necessary information resources.
